FINALLY! It feels like Christmas!

For weeks Lilly has been wishing for snow .... For those of you who don't know IT DOES NOT SNOW IN SAINT GEORGE UTAH! Most of the time it doesnt get under 45 degrees during the day and that is the COLDEST! But here we are in two inches of cold, slushy OH MY TOESIES! SNOW! And oh have I missed it, I must admit I have been a little sad that it doesnt look like Christmas around here. Since I spent the last three Christmas' in Cedar City WHERE IS DOES SNOW! So Lilly I hope you enjoy your White Christmas there is a little part of me that thinks God did this for the one and only you!

Baking Cookies

For her Birthday she got a "Lilly sized" baking set from Great Grandma and Grandpa Christensen. So we put it to the test, of course my cookies were Betty Crocker out of the bag lol still good. Lilly had lots of fun and even though they are Peanut butter cookies she just had to have red and green sprinkles on them. We had a great time!

Lilly's Third Birthday Party

Well Saturday we had a birthday party for Lilly, and it was lots of fun! TONS of children were there are Lilly really cleaned out when it came to presents!

Grandma and Grandpa Vancil got her a super cozy sweat jacket, two adorable outrfits, a super festive dress, a couple of books, a stuffed bear, and forgive me if I forgot anything but I just dont know what else.

Chris Dawn and Kids got a her a big pony set.
Thomas and Suzie and the kids got her a Littlest pet shop set.
Dave and Amber and the Kids brought her a baby doll twins set with accessories.
Kaden our neighbor brought her a barbie with accessories.
Sam. Bry, Sammy and Abby sent her 3 pairs of festive socks I JUST LOVE THEM.

Shani and Tish got her "Horton hears a who."
If I forgot anyone PLEASE forgive me !! She had a great time and was really happy to see everyone thank you everyone for making this day so special for our little princess.

Lilly's big day!

Today I took Lilly out on a day of fun! Just the girls we went to The Children's Place and I let Lilly pick out a birthday outfit, turns out she is a little bargin shopper! Her whole outfit only cost $4.00 !!!! lol Next we went to Chilis where she had her favorite, pizza and freanch fries. When we were done eating the chilis crew sang her "Happy Birthday" and brought her and chocolate brownie covered in chcolate syrup!Next we we went to the Washington Community Center, where we went swimming in their indoor water park, and played what ever she wanted! Mostly we played "FISH." After swimming for a couple of hours we went to the food court and had some ice cream. From there we went to Target where we bought goodies for her birthday party on saturday. Then! we went to see the movie "BOLT" a very cute movie by the way. with her cup of pink lemon aid, popcorn, and care bear gummies she was just beaming, I love seeing her that happy. Although it was the day before her Birthday, we had a lot of fun celebrating! I love you baby!

Making Ornaments!!

This is a fun thing that Lilly and I do, homemade ornaments have such character!
We have done the all spice cinnamon one before but this time we did the flour dough ones, they are great for hand a foot prints.
We had a lot of fun playing with the cookie cutters and the dough.

A Talk with Santa

Today Jeff an I took Lilly to the Red Cliffs Mall to see Santa!
BIG change from last year, she ran right up to him, jumped in his lap,
and started telling him alllllll about the doll house that she wanted for Christmas.
We were waiting for the family before us to finish buying their photo, so Lilly
got to talk to Santa about her doll house for a good 10 minutes before the photo was even taken! Good job Lilly youre getting to be such a big girl. I love you!

Great Help

So, with me being so sick during my pregnancy, and Jeff working full time all the time (poor guy). Jeff's mom (Elaine) kindly offerned to come and help us out, while Jeff was having a much deserved good time in Vegas.

Lilly was so very excited to see her Grandma M&M, and I was really excited to get some of our stuff in the garage in buckets out of my site and off our closet shelves.

What I'm trying to say is "Thank you so much Elaine for helping us out. I really needed and wanted the help, and it was a big big big help." Thank You we love you.

We are expecting our second born in June of 09 YIPPIE hehe. We find out what we are having in February. Here is how our little "JuneBug" is doing.

We have a Dr. ap. Dec 1st. Im very excited for that.

And I will be so happy with whatever.

How exciting!

Dec 1st ap. (2nd ap.)
Went very well. We listened to our little bugs heart beat for the first time!
I cried and Jeff and Lilly laughed at me crying...SORRY I'm a mom what can I say? lol.

The little bugs heart rate was at 140 and Dr Winward said that it has a very strong little heart beat, and boy was it loud and clear. Just to compare pregnancys, Lilly's heart rate was at 170 at this time WOW what a differnce huh?

n0.1- I don't like to pay for my stuff on a register that is on the right side of the aisle. It's just un-natural.

n0.2- I'm very shy, and most people think that I am very stuck up untill they get to know me better.

n0.3- 95% of the time when I type out the word "just" it comes out "jsut" unless I try very hard to type it the way it is suposed to be, even still it will come out wrong sometimes. That didnt start untill I was preg with Lilly.

n0.4- I bite my fingernails(gross I know)

n0.5- My butt is a afraid of the dark......its true.

n0.6-It' hard for me to stay in one room and do something till its done. So I will jump from one room to another cleaning, and that doesnt accomplish anything because each room gets a little but not everything it needs :(

So she was the prettiest wicked witch out there that night

and there were a lot of them!

I think next year though we might

go to a differnt neighborhood

ours is a very young one and

we had a lot of bowls of candy on the front pourch

with the famous "Please take one" signs

oh course we also had one at our door!

We went around the block and that was enough to fill

up Lilly's bucket and be done for the night.

Kids now a days just dont have the stamina

like me and my brothers did growing up

that is for sure!

I still think she had just as much fun.

The honey moon

A Baja Cruise to Cabo and Ensenada, Mexico.

If you have never been on a cruise before, I suggest you make it a plan before your time runs out.

Before your too old, too tired, or too broke!

Jeff and I had a great time, even if your not into staying out and drinking all night, since Jeff and I are not into that,

There are other things to do and see!

There is also TONS of food to eat

pizza 24 hours a day and soft serve ice cream also!

We did lots of souvenir shopping and its fun to find your inner

haggler.

My favorite part about the whole trip was

swimming in the ocean in Cabo and

NOT freezing my butt off.

If you have been to the ocean before you know its

few and far between that the ocean water

is bearable.

So it was a very nice change,

and of course swimming with Jeff was lots

of fun, and being able to spend so much time

alone with him, thats one thing, we never really have

a lot of time to be alone.

Now even though I enjoyed the much needed alone

time with my husband, does not mean I didnt miss

My daughter Lilly more than I could stand.

It helps to know she was safe in the hands of my

Aunt Terri, Uncle Sephen and Cousins Bryann and Sam

and all their cute little kids.

Lilly had a lot I mean TONS of fun

Playing with the kids and animals.

Going to the movies, duck pond, Chuck E Cheese, in fact

she still talks about everyone and everything!
